I believe the best patient care begins with listening, education, and trust. My goal is to combine my clinical experience with a personalized approach so every patient feels heard, informed, and confident in their care.
Monica Sullivan, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with more than a decade of experience caring for patients across a wide range of ages and clinical experiences. At Sutton Dermatology + Aesthetics, she brings her broad clinical background and a particular interest in skin health, prevention, and patient education to provide thoughtful, individualized dermatologic care.
Monica earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Nebraska Wesleyan University and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies with Distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Her diverse clinical experience includes preventive and acute care, chronic disease management, medication management, diagnostic evaluation, and minor procedures, including skin-related procedures. This foundation allows her to take a comprehensive approach to evaluating skin concerns while helping patients understand their treatment options and long-term skin health.
With a passion for education and evidence-based medicine, Monica also serves as an Assistant Professor in the University of Nebraska Medical Center Physician Assistant Program, where she develops and teaches curriculum, advises students, and leads clinical skills and pediatric education. Her commitment to continued learning translates into a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to dermatologic care.
At Sutton Dermatology + Aesthetics, Monica is dedicated to helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their skin. She takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns and goals, with an emphasis on prevention, healthy skin, and personalized treatment.
