Margaret Kontras Sutton, M.D.
Dr. Margaret Kontras Sutton is a board-certified dermatologist, specially trained in diseases of the skin, hair and nails. She enjoys practicing both medical and surgical dermatology and especially enjoys interacting with the entire range of dermatology patients from newborns to centenarians.
Dr. Sutton completed her dermatology residency at Creighton-University of Nebraska residency program in Omaha, Nebraska. She completed medical school at UNMC where she graduated with High Distinction. She was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, an honorary society which recognizes commitment to scholarship, leadership, professionalism, and service in the field of medicine. During undergraduate studies at UN-L, she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She also was an inaugural member of the Scarlet and Cream Singers.
Dr. Sutton and her husband have three daughters: Dr. Leigh Sutton who is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs surgeon at Sutton Dermatology + Aesthetics, Dr. Stephanie Sutton who is a psychiatrist with a special interest in mental wellness and a guest blogger for Sutton Dermatology + Aesthetics, and Dr. Liz Sutton who is a board certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs surgeon at Sutton Dermatology + Aesthetics.

Leigh Sutton, M.D.
Dr. Sutton, a Lincoln native:
- Completed a Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at Baylor in Houston.
- Her dermatology residency was completed at Baylor Scott & White Health, where she served as Chief Resident and also was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
- While attending UNMC she was elected President of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society.
- In 2012 she graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with Distinction, receiving her M.D. degree.
- At Creighton University she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
- She graduated from Pius X High School.
Dr. Sutton sees patients of all ages for their medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology needs. Dr. Leigh Sutton is board certified in dermatology. Dr. Leigh is an author of multiple publications presented at national meetings. She has been a presenter at multiple local and national medical meetings.
Elizabeth Sutton, M.D.
Dr. Elizabeth (Liz) Sutton, M.D. is a Lincoln native. She is a board certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs micrographic surgeon at Sutton Dermatology.
Dr. Sutton completed her dermatology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where she served as Chief Resident. At Mayo Clinic she received the Harold O. Perry Award for Scholastic Achievement, awarded only eight times in the last twenty years. After residency she completed a rigorous year-long fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery in Indianapolis, under the instruction of Dr. C William Hanke, former president of the American College of Mohs Surgery.
Dr. Sutton completed medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where she graduated with High Distinction. While attending UNMC she served as President of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society and President of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She is a proud Husker and went to the University of Nebraska – Lincoln where she graduated from the Honors Program and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She is a graduate of Pius X High School.
She is married and has two children. She enjoys going on walks on the Lincoln trail system and playing golf and tennis with her family.
Dr. Sutton sees patients of all ages for their medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology needs.
Jessica Harms, M.D.
Jessica Harms, M.D. is a Nebraska native, born and raised in Blair, NE. She is a proud Husker alum, who graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with High Distinction before pursuing her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. While at UNMC, she served as Vice President of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society and graduated with high distinction. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and upon graduation, joined the UIHC faculty. While at Iowa, Dr. Harms earned awards for her commitment to both medical student and resident education.
Dr. Harms is a board-certified dermatologist and enjoys serving patients of all ages for their medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology needs.
Michelle R. Sitzman, PA‑C
Michelle Sitzman graduated from Doane College and received her Bachelor of Science degree in May of 1996. She attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center and graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies in December of 1999. Michelle spent two years in family practice at the Crete Area Medical Center. Michelle became nationally certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in 1999.
Rebecca A. Reinke, PA‑C
Rebecca has almost a decade of experience in the aesthetic medicine and the use of injectables and lasers. She has 15 years of experience as a Dermatology Physician Assistant and was the first Physician Assistant at Sutton Dermatology & Aesthetics Center.
Rebecca has been instrumental in helping the practice grow to Diamond level, placing it in the top 3% of aesthetic practices nationally, and helping Sutton Derm become the number one injectables practice in Lincoln, second overall in the state of Nebraska. Rebecca has also helped the practice achieve an average of 4.75 out of five stars for patient reviews.
To perfect her aesthetic skills, Rebecca has personally worked with the top injectors nationally including but not limited to:
- Participation in an invite-only Master Class training with Dr. Mauricio de Maio, Facial Plastic Surgeon and internationally recognized expert in facial injectables. Rebecca was the only injector from
- Nebraska to participate in this advanced training.
- Onsite Sculptra training with Cheryl Burgess, M.D., Dermatologist in Washington D.C. a pioneer in Sculptra techniques, laser procedures, and injectables in general.
- Onsite training with Steven Yoelin, M.D., Oculoplastic Surgeon in San Diego, CA, an expert in facial injectables with Sculptra®, hyaluronic acid fillers, and Botox®/Dysport®.
- Yearly onsite training with Haley Wood, Advanced Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner out of Nashville, a top instructor for major aesthetic companies and private cosmetic businesses alike.
- Participates at least yearly in advanced injectable training courses and attends national conferences on aesthetic medicine biannually, including:
- The Aesthetics Show in Vegas
- The Orlando Dermatology and Aesthetics Symposium
- The Aesthetic Physician Assistant Symposium in Boca Raton, FL.
- When she can’t meet with these experts face-to-face, Rebecca frequently participates in training webinars on facial anatomy, advanced Botox and filler techniques, and Sculptra Aesthetic facial shaping.
- She is considered to be one of the best injectors in the Midwest and has patients who travel across state lines just to see her and is a favorite among the beauty pageant winners and participants.
Erin C. Hegge, PA‑C
Erin Hegge graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and received her Bachelor of Science degree in May of 2002. She attended the University of South Dakota and graduated with a Bachelor degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2004. She became nationally certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in 2005. Erin spent nine years practicing general dermatology in North Dakota. Erin and her husband have a daughter named Lucy.
Sarah C. Minarick, PA‑C
Sarah Heacock Minarick graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2005. She attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center and graduated with distinction, earning a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree in 2007. She became nationally certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in 2008. She initially practiced internal medicine before joining a dermatology practice in Champaign, IL. She has practiced general dermatology since 2011.
Sharon Spethman, PA-C
Sharon Spethman graduated from the University of Nebraska and attended Union College earning a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree with honors in 2014. She joined the Sutton Aesthetic Center in 2021.
Sharon has extensive clinical experience with skills focused in cosmetic dermatology and has received specialized training for medical aesthetic treatments including BOTOX/Dysport, lasers for resurfacing and rejuvenation, QWO injections for cellulite, microneedling with PRP, sclerotherapy for spider veins, and more.
She has special interest in enhancing the appearance of her patients and enjoys getting to know them by establishing trust and helping her patients gain their confidence by creating natural looking beauty results.
Sharon is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Nebraska Academy of Physician Assistants.
In her free time, Sharon enjoys reading, playing tennis, volunteering and spending time with her family.

Nicolette Netz, PA-C
Nicolette Netz joined the Sutton Dermatology Clinic in 2021 after receiving her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Union College where she graduated with high distinction. During her time at Union College, she served as the president of her physician assistant class and was inducted into Pi Alpha, a national PA honor society for academic achievements, leadership, research, and community service. Before Union College, Nicolette earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln focusing in Nutrition and Health Sciences.
Before becoming a certified physician assistant, Nicolette worked as a certified nurse aide and medical scribe. This experience elevated her ability to efficiently work with medical staff to provide the best possible patient care. During her physician assistant studies clinic rotations, Nicolette spent time working alongside Dr. Margaret Kontras Sutton and Dr. Elizabeth Sutton which helped her further realize her professional passion was in dermatology and medical aesthetics. Nicolette works with patients of all ages treating conditions of the hair, skin and nails.
She has special interest in educating patients on their specific skin condition and coming up with a solution and treatment plan that works for each individual patient and makes them feel confident in their skin.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Nebraska Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Nicolette lives an active lifestyle. She enjoys working out, teaching dance at a local Lincoln studio, and spending time with her family and friends.
Carrie Power, PA-C
Carrie Power, PA-C, is a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant with a diverse background in healthcare and a passion for aesthetics. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Iowa State University in 1991, laying the foundation for her comprehensive understanding of holistic health. In 2001, Carrie graduated from Union College as a Physician Assistant, solidifying her commitment to patient care.
Carrie’s professional journey began in family practice, where she served from 2001 to 2006, honing her diagnostic and treatment skills while building strong connections with patients. Her commitment to excellence led her to specialize in pulmonary and critical care from 2006 to 2017, where she played a crucial role in managing complex medical cases.
Simultaneously, Carrie’s interest in aesthetics emerged early in her career, and she began working part-time in the field in 2002. Recognizing the transformative power of aesthetic medicine, she transitioned to full-time aesthetics in 2017, driven by a desire to help individuals restore and enhance their natural beauty.
Carrie’s pursuit of excellence in aesthetics is underscored by her participation in master injector courses focused on advanced techniques. She has also attended numerous palette workshops, delving into cannula use, facial anatomy, and mastering neurotoxin applications. Her commitment to staying at the forefront of her field reflects her dedication to providing the highest standard of care to her patients.
A proud member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Nebraska Chapter (NAPA), Carrie actively engages with her professional community. She values the opportunity to collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals and stay abreast of the latest developments in the field.
In her practice, Carrie is known for her focus on restorative aesthetics, aiming to bring out each individual’s natural, youthful beauty. She believes in creating meaningful connections with her patients, taking the time to understand their unique goals and desired outcomes. This patient-centered approach sets her apart and contributes to the positive experiences of those under her care.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Carrie finds joy in traveling, snow skiing, and running. Her commitment to a balanced lifestyle is evident in her dedication to family, cherishing moments spent with loved ones. Carrie Power, PA-C, continues to make a meaningful impact in the world of aesthetics, combining her expertise with a genuine passion for helping individuals look and feel their best.
Sadie McDaniel, APRN
Sadie McDaniel received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2011. From there, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee where she completed a critical care residency program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. While in Tennessee, she worked as a critical care nurse in the adult emergency department demonstrating excellent patient care.
She earned her Masters of Nursing from Tennessee State University and worked as a board certified family nurse practitioner in medical dermatology and aesthetic medicine for five years before joining the Sutton Dermatology Clinic in 2021.
As a family nurse practitioner in dermatology, Sadie has specialized in identifying and treating diseases and medical issues of the hair, skin and nails. She finds this type of work especially rewarding and enjoys helping patients with their skin care. She has a special focus in treating eczema and acne.
She is a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association and board certified as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner.
Sadie enjoys decorating cupcakes, outdoor activities and traveling with her daughter and husband.
