How Does it Work?

CoolSculpting® requires no surgery, no anesthesia, no downtime. Many of us have stubborn fat despite diet and exercise. CoolSculpting® technology uses controlled cooling to target and kill only these fat cells. In the weeks to follow, the body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells.

How Does it Differ from CoolTone™?

CoolSculpting® technology safely delivers precisely controlled cooling to gently and effectively target the fat cells underneath the skin while leaving the skin itself unaffected. Who is a Candidate

CoolSculpting® can be done on both men and women with great results. With smaller areas of fat it is important that there be enough fat to pinch into the applicator or treatment won’t work, and for larger areas it’s performing enough cycles in the right places to get that ‘wow’ effect. The CoolSculpting® procedure is not a treatment for obesity and will not result in weight loss. We will review your medical history and check for any contraindications at your free consultation.

What Does it Feel Like?

During your treatment, a gel pad and applicator are applied to the targeted area. Applicators that use a vacuum will draw the tissue into the applicator cup. Controlled cooling is then delivered to the targeted fat so you may feel intense cold but this sensation typically subsides within 10 minutes as the area becomes numb. Many people read, check email, watch a DVD, or even take a nap during their session. Afterwards, patients are usually able to return to normal activities.
