Our Eclipse Micropen is a device that uses tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin. This prompts the body to respond by self- healing, thus, creating new collagen. Improvement is seen with mild to moderate acne scars, fine lines & wrinkles, skin texture and even some stretch marks.
The skin is cleansed and a topical numbing cream is applied for approximately 30 minutes before the treatment is done. This minimizes any discomfort felt during the procedure. A full face treatment takes approximately 30 minutes. Once the procedure is done, most people experience redness and slight swelling for a few days. Within a week or two your skin will be noticeably smoother and more radiant. To achieve the desired results, it is recommended to do a series of 4-6 treatments at 4 week intervals. The number of treatments will vary according to your specific concerns. Even though you’ll likely notice changes after the first treatment, the ultimate results are seen approximately 6 months after the final treatment. Maintenance can vary, although, we would encourage a treatment a minimum of once a year.
