Sarah Heacock Minarick is a dedicated and compassionate physician assistant with a strong commitment to patient care. She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2005 before earning her Master of Physician Assistant Studies with distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2007. She became nationally certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in 2008.
After beginning her career in internal medicine, Sarah discovered her passion for dermatology and transitioned to a dermatology practice in Champaign, IL. She has been practicing general dermatology since 2010, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a caring approach to each patient interaction. Sarah is dedicated to addressing her patients’ skin concerns with personalized, thoughtful treatment plans that aim to enhance their overall well-being.
With a genuine passion for skin health and patient education, Sarah takes pride in making her patients feel comfortable and confident in their care. She believes that healthy skin plays a key role in boosting self-esteem and empowering individuals to feel their best.
Outside of the office, Sarah loves spending time with her husband, Mitch (also a Nebraska native), her son, John, and her family and friends. She is involved in her Church and loves to cook, read, and spend as much time as she can outdoors (with sunscreen, of course!).
