How Does it Work?
CoolTone’s™ powerful magnetic muscle stimulation (MMS) technology penetrates below the fat layer to strengthen and tone muscle. It selectively delivers strong pulses to muscle tissues in a noninvasive manner. The state-of-the-art system features liquid-cooled applicators leaving the skin unaffected.

CoolSculpting® technology safely delivers precisely controlled cooling to gently and effectively target the fat cells underneath the skin while leaving the skin itself unaffected. The treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen). Over time, the body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells, leaving a more sculpted you.

Who is a Candidate
The ideal candidate is close to their goal weight with a lower BMI and is active and healthy. Some muscle tone should already be present without too much fatty tissue covering the muscles and not too much skin laxity.
Note, individual treatment recommendations and plans vary depending on body type, lifestyle, and goals. We will help determine if you are a good candidate during your consultation.
Important Safety Information: The CoolTone™ procedure is not for everyone. You should not have the CoolTone™ treatment in areas with metal, electrical, or electronic implants/devices like cardiac pacemakers, implanted hearing devices, implanted defibrillators, implanted neurostimulators, drug pumps, or hearing aids.
Tell your doctor if you have any medical conditions as CoolTone™ should not be used over a menstruating uterus, over areas of the skin that lack normal sensation, in patients with fever, malignant tumor, hemorrhagic conditions, epilepsy, recent surgical procedure, pulmonary insufficiency, or pregnancy.
CoolTone™ should be used with caution in patients with Graves’ disease (an autoimmune disorder that causes overactive thyroid), active bleeding disorders, or seizure disorders.
Women who are close to menstruation may find that it comes sooner, or cramping is increased or intensified with CoolTone™ treatments, therefore, it is recommended to not undergo treatment during this time of the month.
CoolTone™ should not be used in the heart or head areas, areas of new bone growth, over the carotid sinus nerves, or over the neck or mouth. CoolTone™ should not be applied over swollen, infected, inflamed areas or skin eruptions. Caution should be used for patients with suspected or diagnosed heart problems.
What does a CoolTone™ treatment feel like?
An applicator will be applied directly above the targeted area.
During treatment, you will feel strong muscle contractions and tapping sensations. Sessions usually last around 30 minutes for each targeted area. Many people relax during their sessions.
Common side effects may include, but may not be limited to, muscular pain, temporary muscle spasm, temporary joint or tendon pain, and redness at or near the treatment site.

CoolTone™ uses Magnetic Muscle Stimulation (MMS) to selectively deliver strong pulses to muscle tissues in a noninvasive manner.
CoolTone’s MMS technology penetrates into the muscle layers and induces powerful, involuntary muscle contractions, all in a safe and effective treatment. With increasing magnetic muscle stimulation, more muscle fibers and larger muscle fibers are recruited.
More muscle fiber engagement creates a stronger muscle contraction. The pulses bypass the skin, fat and nerves. CoolTone™ is FDA-cleared to strengthen, tone, and firm the abdomen, buttocks, and thighs.
